SubioMed™ Enters Dynamic Biomechanics Market from Minneapolis

Company Founded on Patented Inventions by Dr. Barry Butler, DPM Practicing Podiatrist and Serial Inventor


(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) May 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SubioMed, Inc. (“SubioMed” or the “Company”), a pioneer in the invention and development of biomechanics technology addressing critical elements of gait and balance, today announced that it has entered the biomechanics market launching operations in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Barry Butler, a practicing podiatrist, serial inventor and Chairman of the Board for SubioMed, has created the technology that SubioMed intends to commercialize. Dr. Butler is also the Founder and a Partner of Advanced Foot and Ankle Clinics, which was established in 1992. With multiple clinics located in southern Minnesota, Dr. Butler is a 28-year veteran of the space with experience in foot and ankle surgery, orthotics and bracing.

Physical issues surrounding biomechanics of the lower extremities are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality effecting millions of patients worldwide. SubioMed intends to address this problem by commercializing Dr. Butler’s technology. Dr. Butler stated, “We are very pleased to enter the biomechanics market from the Minneapolis area, the center of medical technology and devices.
