THOMAS CLANTON

MD

Dr. Thomas Clanton is an internationally recognized orthopedic surgeon who recently retired as the Director of Foot & Ankle Sports Medicine at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.

 

Dr. Clanton has served sports teams as lead physician for the Houston Rockets (NBA), Team Orthopaedist for the Houston Texans (NFL) and Team Physician for Rice University. He served as Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He was Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He is Past President of the Texas Society for Sports Medicine (1993-1994), the Houston Orthopaedic Society (1998-1999) and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (1999-2000).

 

Dr. Clanton's  professional memberships include the American Medical Association (AMA), the Christian Medical and Dental Society, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), the American Orthopaedic Association, the Texas Orthopaedic Association, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), and the Texas Society for Sports Medicine.​

JUDITH BAUMHAUER

MD, MPH

Dr. Judith Baumhauer serves as Associate Chair of Academic Affairs and Professor, Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester. In addition to providing clinical care, she holds the position as the Medical Director of the PROMIS for the UR Health Care System and is a board director of Accountable Health Partners, ACO for the Rochester Region.

 

Dr. Baumhauer is the past president of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS); and Eastern Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Baumhauer currently sits on the board of directors of the PROMIS Health Organization. Dr. Baumhauer has published over one hundred peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.

MARK GLAZEBROOK

MD, FRCSC, PHD

Dr. Glazebrook is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Dalhousie University with a cross appointment to the School of Biomedical Engineering. He is Director of the Dalhousie University Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Fellowship and previously served as President of the Canadian Orthopedic Association (COA).

 

Dr. Glazebrook completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Foot & Ankle and Sports Medicine at the University of Western Ontario followed by a Ph.D. in Achilles Tendon Disease at Dalhousie University. He has authored more than 80 published studies and 14 book chapters.

 

Dr. Glazebrook devotes 80% of his working time to clinical practice focusing on Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Reconstruction and Sports Medicine. His outcomes research focuses on Evidence Based Medicine, Ankle Arthritis, MTP Arthritis, Bone Graft Substitutes and Achilles tendon rupture care.

DENNIS JANISSE

C.PED

Mr. Janisse is the President and CEO of National Pedorthic Services (NPS). In addition to his duties at NPS, Mr. Janisse is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Mr. Janisse is on the Board of Directors of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, and a consultant for Dr. Comfort a subsidiary of DJO Global. He is also the past President of the Pedorthic Footwear Association and an Honorary Member of the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS). Mr. Janisse has written extensively on all aspects of Pedorthics with over 50 publications to his credit. Additionally, he helped write the seminal Medicare Therapeutic Shoe Bill to help prevent diabetic foot wounds. He continues to lecture and teach globally.
